How the kennel started
In the year of 1995 a friend called and told me that she had bought a dog. She asked me if I wanted to come over and see the little pup. When I arrived there were two puppies meeting me, one black and one white. I didn´t know what breed I just saw the black one with standing ears and it was smaller than the white one. Then the breeder came into the hall and I told her that I must have that black puppy. As a matter of fact, I still don't know what happened during the next few hours.
The black puppy could have been my friends puppy or someone elses, but lucky for me that wasn't the case. That's how "Hera", Mog-Ur's Zelandoni came into my life and enriched it. Soon after that two more Tibetan Terriers arrived into my home!
It felt natural to show two of my tibetans and with that my interest for breeding started. I applied for the kennel name Zelandonis 1999, the pedigree name after my first tibetan Hera. Alix was the first bitch who had puppies in the year of 2000 and Zelandonis Elsie was born!
I had started to show Shansu and Alix when I met Torbjörn Skaar who gave me advice, that I needed for my bitches. A great thanks to him!
Margareta Sundqvist, kennel A-Mas, was a great support during a hard time in my life with her knowledge about genetics. My first tibetan Hera got linsluxation and I had my first litter! I was totally heartbroken and called Margareta. I will never forget all that support she gave me. Thank you Margareta!
Sievert Hansson, kennel Milingtons had great patience with me when he taught me about genetics. He spent many hours with me and no one can probably understand what a great man he is!
Without Margareta Sundqvist and Sievert Hansson I would not have this knowledge about genetics (they have taught me that you never stop learning about genetics) nor the humbleness I have today.
You just can't live without those wonderful Tibetan Terriers!
